BY AUTOMOBILE
To get into Newport use one of three bridges: The Claiborne Pell Bridge (has a 4.00 toll), from Jamestown, The Sakonnet River Bridge, from Tiverton, or the Mount Hope Bridge, from Bristol. Newport can be accessed using 195 and 95, as well as routes 4 and 138.

BY AIRPLANE
Logan International Airport (BOS) in Boston is about 90 minutes away depending on traffic.
T.F. Green Airport (PVD) in Warwick offers shuttle and cab services to Newport, and is about 30-40 minutes away depending on traffic.
Newport State Airport, Located in nearby Middletown, this airport is small and does not offer commercial flights. It does accommodate small private planes and helicopters. It also offers skydiving, and hot air balloon rides. It is about 5 minutes away from downtown Newport.

BY TRAIN
Amtrak trains between Boston and New York City stop in Providence and Kingston. The RIPTA 64 bus connects the Kingston Railway Station to the Newport Gateway Visitor Center. The 20 mile bus journey cost $2.00 and takes one hour.

BY BUS
If you are traveling within Rhode Island or have access to the RIPTA, this may be an alternative to driving to Newport. For rates and schedules, please visit the RIPTA website.

ON FOOT
We are located at 47 Washington Street, only a short walk from Newport harbor and all of the great restaurants, shopping and leisure activities that Newport has to offer.
